MEET OUR TEAM

In 1981, I answered an ad in the Miami Herald. The new location for the Miami Metro Zoo was under construction and they needed painters. Little did I know at the time, that job was the beginning of a long and bright career in the coating and finishing industries. It would span the next 40 years.

 

Born in Cuba, raised in Missouri and Florida, fluent in both English and Spanish, I have worked in all areas of the trade. I spent the first several years of my career mastering the commercial and industrial aspects of the profession. This took me to places as far away from home as Marshall Texas and Long Island New York where I painted everything from monorails to oil rigs. Never one to be satisfied with my level of trade knowledge, I left the commercial and industrial sector to try my hand in the high end residential construction area where I worked for several more years painting luxury homes all across South Florida.

 

By 2000, I had become, by all accounts, a master tradesman. However, I still felt something was missing. So that year, I left a comfortable management position with one of the Palm Beaches’ leading residential painting companies to take an entry level job in the marine side of the trade. After being in the profession for almost twenty years, I found myself right back where I started as an apprentice. I quickly learned and polished my skills and within two years was running, managing the varnish and wood finishing department of the nation’s largest covered mega yacht refinishers.

 

In 2004, I left the marine sector, ventured into partnership with my friend and colleague, and formed K.M. Painting & Finishing, Inc. With a remarkable knowledge of coatings and finishing’s that far exceed that of the ordinary house painter, I continue to provide some of the most beautiful paint jobs in South Florida, handling all of the day to day operations of K.M. Painting & Finishing, Inc.

 

After seven years of operating K.M. Painting & Finishing, Inc., in 2012 my partner and I decided to part ways for geographical reasons, and dissolved K.M. Painting & Finishing. Immediately thereafter I opened Many Mansions Painting & Finishing, Inc., continuing to offer my customers the same quality paint jobs that have earned my impeccable reputation in the paint industry.
